About Us

Youth Dialogue Association (YDA) is a civil society organization founded by young professionals who believe in community-led development. Established in North Lebanon, the association has grown into a trusted local partner delivering impactful programs in youth empowerment, agriculture, education, environment, and women’s development.
We work to address real community needs by providing learning opportunities, building local capacities, and designing development initiatives that strengthen social, economic, and environmental wellbeing.

SDG Alignment

Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals

Our programs are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

How We Contribute to the SDGs?

YDA integrates SDG principles across all programs by:

With sustainable agriculture and home-garden programs that reduce vulnerability (SDG 2 & SDG 11).

By targeting vulnerable youth, women, students, and underserved communities (SDG 10).

such as waste management campaigns, eco-awareness activities, and climate-focused community engagement (SDG 13).

by empowering women socially and economically, building their skills, and supporting women-led cooperatives (SDG 5).

Through PHC services, awareness campaigns, and partnerships with the Ministry of Public Health (SDG 3).

Through vocational training, entrepreneurship support, and income-generation projects (SDG 1 & SDG 8).

Via tutoring programs, school support, teacher training, and youth leadership development (SDG 4).

Through this approach, YDA ensures that each initiative delivers measurable community impact while contributing to Lebanon’s progress toward sustainable development.
